Melissa Sue Brassard
04/25/1986 - 10/11/2003
Melissa was a freshman at Lincoln College in
Lincoln, IL. She was on a volleyball scholarship and was an awesome athlete. In
high school, she played basketball and volleyball and participated actively in
4-H, FFA, Student Council, and National Honor Society. She passed away when her
car skidded off a gravel road, which also happened to be a mile down the road
from her house, and flipped, throwing her from the vehicle and the vehicle
landing on the lower portion of her body. Her brother and cousin found her
unconscious under the car. She was an awesome athlete and a wonderful friend.
There was nothing more she loved than her family, friends, volleyball, and of
course her pigs. She was always smiling and she is missed by so many.
