Robert (Jonesy) Jones

Jan 12th, 1952 - Jan 12th, 2000

Their was a house fire in Unity, Maine around 4:30 p.m. As usually my devoted father just came home from a hard days work at the Waldo County Sheriff's Office. He is the sheriff. But when that fire call came on his 48th birthday dad responded. He was filling a fire truck with water by a near by pond. When he realized that three little boys would not survive the fire. So he laid down his life to take the three 6 year old triplet boys to heaven. He had a heart attack. He is survived by his parents Nancy and Walter Jones of Whitman, Mass, a brother Peter Jones and his wife Kathleen, two daughters Lorrie Soneson and finace Kevin Gibbs of Greenville, Maine and Lisa Jones and finace Kevin Dudley of Unity, Maine, and two nephews and three neices.
