My brother, our friend. Joe was like a wild river that soaked up the hardships of life and used them to his benefit like a river uses the rain to become strong and burst through the dam. He broke threw the dam three years ago, but didn't know that the dam was there for a reason. His life quickly became flooded and he swam in his own sorrows. Finally, the river ran into the ocean and it was to late to swim upstream, the current was too strong. I love my brother he will always be in my heart and in my thoughts. He did not live the life that I wished for him, but the twenty-one years that I did have him, I would not give up for anything. May the Lord take care of him and may he now watch over our family.
Where do I start. You know you were
always very special to me. My nephew. You used to get so excited when I would
come over when you were little. And I used to get so excited when I knew you
were coming to see me when you grew up. I truly loved you like you were my own
child. I was always able to pick you up and hold you and hug you to ease your
pain. I could not do it this last time. I miss you so much. They say everyday
gets easier, my days seem to be getting harder. I can never and will never
forget the joy you brought into my life. All you ever cared about was making
everyone happy. You never wanted anyone to be sad for any reason. I don't
understand why such a wonderful person was taken. I guess that's exactly why,
because God needed a very special person, and that person was you. You will
always be in my heart honey. I will forever love you. Love, Aunt Rose
